Why Is God Not Answering My Prayer?

Direct answer

God may seem not to answer because the answer is delayed, different from what you requested, hidden within ordinary events, or connected to a freedom He will not override. Sometimes no clear explanation is available. Christian prayer is not a transaction. It is trust in a Father whose wisdom exceeds ours, even when waiting hurts.

What this really means

Prayer changes circumstances sometimes, but it also changes the person praying. It can expose disordered desires, deepen perseverance, open us to help, and unite us with Christ. None of this makes disappointment unreal. Jesus Himself prayed in anguish.

Does unanswered prayer mean I do not have enough faith?
