Wanting to be rich is not automatically a sin, but the desire becomes disordered when wealth is pursued as the highest good, through injustice, or at the expense of faith, family, honesty, and charity. Christians may build businesses, increase income, invest, and create wealth. They must remain stewards rather than servants of money.

What this really means

The danger of wealth is not only selfish spending. It can create pride, false security, endless comparison, and the belief that every person or opportunity has a price. A healthy ambition remains governed by truth, vocation, and love.
